We’re thrilled to welcome Nadia Wheatley back this October as part of our 75th Anniversary Legacy Program, where she will present 'My Place' and revisit the remarkable Kalymnian stories that have shaped so many in our community.
We take a look back at her unforgettable presentation to our Association and friends in 2024, where we discussed Charmian Clift’s novel, 'Mermaid Singing'. This is one of the most treasured portrayals of Kalymnos, its people, its traditions and its enduring spirit.
Charmian Clift’s deep love for Kalymnos continues to inspire readers today and we’re proud to share this new 'Kalymnos Times' feature of Nadia Wheatley's latest literary tour, exploring her connection to our island and bringing life to the words and places of this wonderful novel.
