As part of our 75th Anniversary Legacy Program, the Kalymnian Association of NSW, together with the Kalymnian Youth Society of NSW, proudly presents the "My Place Author Presentation, Discussion and Family Fundraiser Picnic".

Sunday 11 October 2026 from 12pm.

'My Place' by Nadia Wheatley tells the story of a place in Sydney through the lives of children who lived there from 1788 - 1988, showing how Australia's history, people and culture have changed over time. It features a Kalymnian family who resided at this place, through the eyes of young 'Michaelis', played by Jonathan Kollias, who is our special guest reader at this Author Presentation and Discussion.

Author Nadia Wheatley will be presenting this talk along with co-presenter Themelina Atsas.

On this day, we are going 🎀 Pink 🎀 to help raise funds for National Breast Cancer Foundation. While entry to this event is Free, a gold coin donation would go a long way in our fundraising efforts.

Seating is limited. Please secure your seats by calling Nectaria on 0415 552 162 or Emmanuel on 0414 468 886 or you can DM us on FB or Instagram.

And whether you're a book buff or not, we encourage you all to join us on this day for a Family Picnic where you'll be able to buy food and beverages to help support this cause.
