Celebrating Faith, Culture and Community
The Kalymnian Association of NSW was honoured to be part of the beautiful Feast Day celebrations of Our Lady of Myrtles at Kogarah. This exceptionally well-organised Family Day brought together people of all ages in a wonderful celebration of faith, tradition, and Hellenic culture.
Events such as these remind us of the importance of preserving our cultural heritage and strengthening the bonds that unite our communities. Through music, dance, food, fellowship and shared traditions, we continue to pass our rich customs and values on to future generations.
A special congratulations to all the organisers, volunteers and parish members whose hard work and dedication made the day such a tremendous success. Your efforts created a warm and welcoming atmosphere that was enjoyed by all.
We are also incredibly proud of our children from the Kalymnian Association Dance Troupe, who once again delivered a brilliant performance and were true standouts on the day. Their passion, enthusiasm and commitment to showcasing our island's proud traditions were evident in every dance, earning the admiration and applause of the crowd.
Thank you to everyone who participated and supported this wonderful community event. Together, we continue to keep our culture alive, vibrant and thriving.
